Timing error after WNRO navcore update fix?

Across various forums (fori?) the following "seems to have fixed" the time reset problem (don't shoot the messenger as my devices are fortunately running OK) but so far feedback has all been positive:-

After a full windows backup (in case you don't believe me) simply replace the "glgps" file in your "bin" folder in the root of your device with the one from here http://www.filefactory.com/file/59c0u0wtos2f/glgps.rar

For several years there have been several firmware updates available for SiRFstarIII powered devices that fixed the WNRO issue in several old TomTom devices.
Just for fun I updated the GPS firmware in my TomTom Go 910 devices to v3.6.0 and off they went working perfectly like nothing had happened.
So I dug out my one remaining working original windscreen mount, RF remote, connected up the RDS-TMC adapter (running modified mtcx.dat) and off I went.
Still a great device with lots of features you can’t get on any modern TomTom devices.
