Hi,

I am going to use my TTN3 to travel through France to Spain very shortly.

I have no idea what road speeds to set in Navigator Properties for each of the road classifications, for these countries, and would appreciate any pointers that may help.

I am having enough trouble trying to get the English ones right Embarassed. The TTN3 seems to plan some weird routes compared to those it planned as TTN2.

Additionally, can anyone advise me about the Move E-roads to the back option.
Should I tick it or not Question

Hi Lost1,

A while back, several people (myself included) posted the speed limits of different roads of different countries in the GPS Assist Beta forum. I have found this post again and here are the speed limits it gives for France and Spain:

France: 50, 80, 90, 100, 110, 130 (kph)

Spain: 50, 70, 90, 100, 120 (kph)

The above figures are taken from the UK Automobile Association web site.

HTH. Thumbs Up

Bo Peep.

Regarding the E roads, I have driven through France a couple of times and usually the motorways show both routes, so I haven't bothered ticking it. Anyway, if you follow TT3, it doesn't really matter because TT will be telling you which way to go!!

In France, a lot of roads have both an E number and also an A number - you can choose which to display. For example, the Calais - Dunkerque motorway is both the E40 and the A16.
