On another board where I’m a Mod, status is shown by the name - bold is qualified, not bold isn’t. So on this one, bold would show a member with a currently paid up membership. Dates are irrelevant, we just need to know whether we are dealing with a serious committed member. _________________ Dennis

+1 for sussamb to be a verifier, especially for foreign countries! The more verifiers we have, the better!

Whilst dates may not be essential, the date that membership expires would be useful. In this case, without comments from Oldboy and MaFt we wouldn't have known that the OP's database was 18 months out of date!

No Robert, I think it’s just extra bumff which might be an extra burden on a simple bit of coding by MaFt.
How about it MaFt? You’ve surely got expiry date. Next IT Thursday, why not do this instead of drinking beer 🍻? Bold or unbold doesn’t need an additional line like date would.
In recognition of this brilliant suggestion, perhaps you’d award me a free membership extension? _________________ Dennis

Not read all the posts in thread, but for what it is worth.
Off to belgium and Germany in June, will be a pasenger / navigator so with luck if we pass any cameras I will try and either 'seen again' or enter a new location. Can't promise I'll get it dead right but will try. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

Germany would be particularly good, as most of Germany is not covered by streetview. |

Right you are.
Going to Duseldorf then hire car to go around the Ardennes WW2 stuff, Waterloo and parts of the Seigfried line. No idea if there are cameras where we are going.
Still a couple of weeks to go, so I will have a look at the map database and make some notes to give me a heads up, so to speak. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

There are quite a lot of cameras awaiting verification in DE so they are not on the 'usual' map so keep an eye out for any that you spot. |

Sort of, doing the Ardennes - battle of the Bulge tour, but including the very significant part played by Monty and British Army. Something always overlooked. Some of the Seigfried Line fortifications
Also having a look at battle of Waterloo.
Someone elses turn to drive this time, so I will have the app running and my plan is to take a photo of every camera I can. Hopefully I will be avble to submit them via the app. Have a good data plan, so will always be on. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

Ok, I am back.
The bad news, i didn't see any 'new' ones, the good news all the ones I saw (almost anyway) were on camera alert.
We actually drove from Luxemberg - and not from Dusseldorf as I originally thought. Straight up to Duren just inside Germany. Mostly motorway. Passed 3 cameras in the database. But we drove into and out of Duren about 4 times along the 399 and passed 2 fixed cameras for 50KMP that were not showing up (I have setting set to warn for not verified cameras) 1st time I was in the back and didn't see them until to late, and my mates in the front were useless.
The camerass were one either side of the road about 3-4 kilometers apart. These did not show on the car sat nav either (yes I know).
The only other thing, again I was in the back, we drove from Bastogne to Waterloo along the N4 mostly. Both car sat nave and camera alert showed 2 cameras set for 90kmp, but we could not see them - no better location I'm afraid. Both were on the same side of the motorway driving from Bastogne to Waterloo.
Most of the cameras were either a sort of battleship grey, or black.
Sorry not much help, but all but 2 I saw were on CA.
I did send one (I think) that wasn't in CA, sent from the app, tried to take picture but not sure what, if anything, actually was sent. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |
