Hi,
Just a quick introduction, hope everyone listening is ok.
I have been a subscriber before, I am returning out of curiosity as to the needs in my family, I am retired myself, my son in law is travelling around in hes job and he as a works sat nav (Garmin). The other day he was asking about poi,s and converting to csv from ov2. Im sure most of you are familiar in this.
Carrying on from hes enquiry, I am going to try pocketgps out again, I found it the best site a few years ago. I would like to take the trial offer if it is still being offered "Get FREE TRIAL speed cam warnings For Android" as advertised from the home page.
Does anyone know how to apply?

Hi, welcome back marv.
You don't need to apply. You just download the CamerAlert app for Android, install it and then download a 'one off' free copy of the latest database.
It will nag you to updater after a week, but still work once the nag has been dismissed.

Do you want to convert PocketGPWorld speed camera database POIs from .ov2 to .csv? If that's the case then don't bother converting the POIs, just download the database as Garmin .csv files.
If you do want to convert custom (i.e. your own) POIs from .ov2 to .csv then if you have a Mac the best option would be to use GPSBable, if you have a Windows PC then you have a greater choice such as GPSBable, PoiEdit, Extra POI Editor, etc..
