Hi folks,
Just downloaded Basecamp and having a play. Can't work out to get Basecamp to use my europe map without device plugged in (only global visible).
I used Express to download my map to my PC (my usual download directory) then moved it to Prog Files x86 Garmin Basecamp Maps (where global basecamp map is located) . Basecamp doesn't see it.
I then dropped my map to an empty USB stick and tried that. Basecamp doesn't see it.
Don't really want to mess with Basecamp too much with my device plugged in in case I manage to inadvertently foul my Nav up.
Anyone know what I have to do to use Basecamp with my map but without my Nav plugged in? |

Don't normally need to power off/on for BC to see map but do need to close/open it. BC will only see map on usb stick if in a folder named Garmin. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Thanks sussamb,
Maybe I didn't reboot Basecamp and obviously did when I shutdown/restarted.
Will amend my USB stick but works fine from C drive for now so will run with that.
