|

I already have Cameralert on a large smart phone. I have now bought, on offer in Asda for £25, an Alcatel Pixi 3 running KitKat with the intention of using it only as a permanently installed CA unit.
However, when I try to install CA I get a message saying it can't be installed on this device.
Any advice please? |

Is it Google Play saying that the app isn't compatible with the device? I've seen this before and it's Google's doing and not anything we have control over...
However, if you open a support ticket (http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/support.php) then we can probably get you the apk file manually in order to install it.

Thanks for the reply. Yiou are correct it's Google. However, will not need further assistance as the phone has been returned. On sale as android 5 but actually is boxed as android 4 KitKat but was told it could be updated. After much messing about at home and, later, in the shop it turns out this model cannot be updated to Lollipop. Display was poor anyway so back it went.
May seek a better cheap phone after Christmas and start again. |

Take a look at the Medion ones that are in Aldi at the moment. Pretty decent spec for only £89.99 (make sure it's not the £49.99 one, that's pretty poor). I've heard good reviews of their tablet's too.

Did consider it but I couldn't get into the three local Aldis when this offer came up and they had sold out when I eventually managed it.
However, for £90 I would rather go for Moto E. |
