Hi
I recently had tt2 GB maps on a 128mb sandisk card then purchased the update tt3 and bought another card 256mb toshiba, then deleated the maps off the 128 and installed tt3 gb & major roads of europe on the 256
card. Now i have bought the western europe maps and deleated the ones off the 256mb card and installed the frech maps on it ,all working ok. Now ive installed the Gb maps on the 128 sandisk and cant get the tt to work
ive checked the storage on the card and it says 100+ in useWhen i put the pen on the tom tom it does the circle thing, but were it says start on the ppc it says frame when the circle of the tt finishes is there any way of checking if the sandisk card is knackerd so as i dont have to delete the french map of the 256 card (took over an hour to put on) when ive checked the card with active sync the folder for the GB maps is there |

usually storage tools goes on the ppc this format you card .
think of it as formatting the hard drive of you desk top it will remove any information off the sd card and then reinstall the maps give robins ago that looks like a goodone _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Toytown,
You first need to load StorageTools onto your PDA. Once loaded, goto Programs and tap on the StorageTools icon. You will then get a screen up which will allow you to Format/Defrag etc either your Ipaq File Store or your SD card. Note that Formatting your SD (or CF) card will completely remove ALL data from the card.

BTW, I was running TTN2 maps from a 128mb Sandisk SD card with very few problems, but found running TTN3 maps from the same card very very slow indeed. I changed to a Lexar 32X SD card - it goes like a rocket now!!

hi again
ive installed the storage tools and formated & instaled the tt3 Gb maps
nothing doing with it, ive put a full album on the card and its still working.
it just wont have anything to do with tt3, the other card with the french maps on is still working. im going to get a 512mb card off Ebuyer any idea if the kingston is any good for tt3. |
