Hi.
As a subscriber, I've used CA for a while now - great app!
In one of the recent app updates, a feature has been added that enables immediate feedback for mobile camera sites.
While I'm happy to feed back re mobile sites in use/not, the 'ding' sound that accompanies the mobile camera alert is extremely irritating and I would like to disable the ding.
Is there a way to do this (e.g. I have set all other alerts to only use abbreviated voice alerts with no other sounds and I would like mobile to do the same)?
Thanks in advance!

No there isn't unfortunately. Several people have complained about it over quite a long period of time. If more complain then it is possible that the coders will make it an optional feature.

I'm with you. It really annoys me too.

What I was going to say is that the

has been around for quite a while now.

Because you've been sent to the naughty step until you can learn not to shout.

You can with an android. There appears a lot more options than with a IPhone and there is a box for stopping the bleep on mobile cameras ... Why are we short changed on iPhone.

As it is my good fortune not to have an android, I diodn't know that was possible. However, the complaint was raised a long time ago and at that time, Apple had raised an ugly axe over the head of CamerAlert. So the nice man was unable to any development until Apple had been placated. That has now happened, so we can all start hoping for this annoyance to be placed under our control. I have to say in my experience, this is the only feature I have seen which is an instance of the developer giving us what he thinks we SHOULD have as opposed to what we WOULD LIKE to have.
