I guessed that but we kinda hijacked this "live services discount?" thread with any discounts we could find, sorry about that.

Searching around the internet I came across another TomTom forum and found an old code "Welcome15_uk" and thought, what have I got to lose, so I tried it and it worked. Reduced price from £47.50 to £39.50; okay it's not the 40% I was hoping for but £8 reduction is better than nothing.

| Free extra 6 months of maps has gone BUT now there's a new 20% discount code on maps:- "20MAPS" which I reckon may last until the new v970 maps are released next month |

Thanks for that hijacker. Is your understanding that the discounts are available for the whole of July? My Traffic sub is due at the beginning of August so I could do with waiting a few weeks.

| No need to wait. They add it to your current sub so in your case you would have 13 months subscription still to run. |

Yes, I understand the discount to be available for the whole of July. My LIVE services were due to end first week in August too and have been successfully renewed.
