Please Help. New to POI creation

I am trying to create poi's for the USA since there practically aren't any. I am having trouble getting started. I downloaded MAKEOV2, DumpOV2, POIedit. How do I create the info needed for the OV2 file.

1. Can poi's be created from Microsoft Outlook?

2. Are there any step by step instructions on creating your own poi's?

3. I tried to the MAKEOV2 but it would not open.

4. Do you have to have a lat long for POI edit or is there any way to use an address or zip code.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have a look in the Downloads area http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Downloads under POI Icons and Converters | PC. There is a program called ZipSearch and another called WinOV2. Both programs have help files.
