Hi everyone,
I raised a support ticket and have been directed here in the first instance to see if anyone can help, so here goes...
I've just subscribed to the PocketGPS database for use in my Insignia which has the latest Intellilink touch screen version of the Navi900. I have tried many ways to import the POIs into the system but they will not download in any meaningful way. Even modifying the database to precisely resemble the format required in the Owner Manual and also downloading and modifying one of the CSV versions of the database has been unsuccessful.
So far I have only managed to get a small number of POIs from a severely cut down sample file downloaded and residing in the system, but I cannot get these to display as POIs on the map, they only exist as destinations and have no associated icons. I've spent hours on this now, all to no avail.
A search of the forum has so far revealed these threads where other members are having similar difficulties but none seem to have produced a solution:

Can anyone with the latest Navi900 configuration help? Has anyone with this system been able to get a working solution?
Very much hope this can be resolved.
Kind Regards,
Paul |

I'll hazard a guess that the system is not designed to take the thousands of cameras that are in the database.
Maybe it's only capable of a smaller number of personal POI's. _________________ Satnav:

Thanks for the response Kremmen.
I think you're right, I've dug into this some more and it seems personal POIs are only accessible as destinations. All other POI properties and attributes are not available.
Anyone any ideas that might be worth trying to get around this? |

I also have a built in system in my 2013 Honda Civic but I'm also running a Garmin 2599LMT-D for the cameras and the very accurate traffic. _________________ Satnav:

Just seen this. I am now in a similar position. Has anything changed wit this? To be clear, it is not the sizeof the POI database. The old 900 pre-intellilink system allowed full import and audible alarms. For some reason Opel/Vauxhall are blocking this.
