CamerAlert on HTC One M8

Hi
I have just upgraded to the M8 running Kit Kat and have installed camerAlert - great!

The problem I am having is that in the settings and advanced settings, a lot of hte options are greyed out. e.g. I would like to select shortened warnings, but cannot.

Also the map display hardly seesm to work at all - zoom is all over the place, map flashes up and then disappears etc.

Is anyone else having problems similar to these?

I was wondering if it it a problem with the Kit Kat version of Android (my HTC One X was on ICS I think and the app worked perfectly) - or is it a device compatibility issue?

Any help appreciated!

We're seeing a lot of odd issues with the M8. Iit's not a KitKat issue as we're running that on a number of devices here without issue but we have had reports of a number of strange glitches that seem unique to the M8.

We're looking at log files where we have them but it's another one of the many issues with Android and the myriad of different hardware platforms, it can be very tough going!

If you do get prompted to send a crash log, please do as the more data we can collect on this the better.
