database download

I have a new Clio with media nav installed. can I add pocket gps world speed cameras. if so which database do I download.

I believe Renault have been using TomTom as their supplier for built in SatNAvs, so you would need to download the OV2 set of files and place these in the same folder which contains the TT maps.

However, things are constantly changing and it appears that every new model brings a new challenge to the table. If the OV2 files do not work the next thing to try would be to read the manual that was supplied with the satnav for any mention of how to add 3rd party/your own POIs.

Failing that, the next time you are with your Renault dealer ask them what accessories there are for your satnav and see if they try to sell you their own POI database, if they do, see if you can weedle it out of them what file system it is and how they suggest loading them.
