I have followed all the instructions to download speed cameras but when I put the SD card in my unit it just says reading and nothing else happens has anybody got any ideas on how to solve this

I'm not 100% sure that I can help. I have a similar unit DNX-4210DAB. The software from Kenwood is a bit flaky.

Have you upgraded to the latest firmware?

Did you use the Garmin POI loader? If so did you start with a clean SD card with nothing else on it? And did you let the POI loader create the whole folder structure? When I did mine the first time, I had some other files on the media (my unit uses a USB rather than an SD card) and it didn't work.

Only other thing is the format of the SD card. I can't remember but I think it needs to be FAT 32. Maybe wrong about that.
