I have A TomTom Go live 1005 with full Europe maps. As I shall never use most of the included Countries I would like to know if it is possible to delete some of them in order to free up disc space and if so how to do it.
Thankyou |

Sorry, you can't split up chunks of the map.
There are zoned maps of Europe, but that wouldn't apply to devices such as yours (4 gb storage) and, in fact, if you have a 2nd edition 1005, you also have a micro sdhc slot for further map expansion. _________________ David |

Thanks for your info. Thought something like you say would be the case, unfortunately I have the 4 gig version and therefore no sd slot.

What were you hoping to free up memory for?
Apart from adding POI files or colour schemes (which take up very little space), there's not a lot you can add!
...Voices take up a bit more space I suppose. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
