on startup also run, again

I have the same problem as a previous poster,when I start cameraAlert with "On startup also run" "Navfree", the Navfree program does not open.
This is on 2 devices, a Nexus7 2013 with Android 4.3, it worked on previous nexus7 also on a Sony LT26i phone with Android 4.1.2, it used to work on this device.
I have also tried starting other apps from the CameraAlert "On startup also run" option and none start when launching CameraAlert.
I have not modified any Developer options, also looked at your suggestion to load "alogcat" in playstore but it does not seem to exist there now.

We think this is something that has changed in Android 4.3. Lutz is looking into it.

It does on 2.3.5 as well. Tomtom app starts up about 1 in 4 times.

Any luck investigating this problem? As mentioned above, it's also happening on Android 4.1.2. Trying to get it to open Tom Tom, but haven't managed to get it to work at all.

Has there been a fix for this yet?

I set this up with Tom Tom on my Android Samsung S3 mini. It used to run the Tom Tom app after starting but then stopped.

I can run the app separately but now can't get the Pocket database to work at all.
