Are we due a new map update this month, only TT is offering me a new 4 map sub for about £22, but my present sub does not run out for about another 2 months.
If I take up the offer NOW does it get tagged onto my current sub, or will I loose the last update in the next few weeks  Cannot remember how it works.
Are these dates about correct:
Map update release dates (approximate)
885 - mid Feb 2012
890 - mid May 2012
895 - mid Aug 2012
900 - mid Nov 2012
905 - mid Feb 2013
910 - mid May 2013
915 - mid Aug 2013
920 - mid Nov 2013 |

They are, if TT keep to the same schedule, due in the next week or so.

In the past TT has tagged new Map Update offers onto a existing Map Update Service.

When TT issue map updates, how long are they available for download on "My TomTom" or "TT Home" ?

Well, new maps are available about every 3 months. Thus, if you are eligible for such, that's how long you should see it as available.
For example, 915 was made available in August. If you have the MUS (map update service) for your device, you'd see the 915 available till November, when 920 is due for release.
Then you'd see that one, if the MUS is still active.

From the TT Support Pages:
You can still download your map if one of the following conditions apply:
You have purchased a downloadable map or a Map Update Service within the last 12 months
or
You are within your Latest map guarantee period (typically 30 days from the first use of your device)

Thanks for that. I have lifetime maps so I should always have access to the latest maps.
