Help: Number of satellites not showing

Hi

Using Tom Tom 3 with a Navman 3000 jacket (with Navman serial driver 3.1.6).

I've never had any problems whatsoever with this setup, since I moved from SmartST to Tom Tom 3. Very reliable setup.

However, just one minor thing that irritates me. The Tom om Tom GPS program has never reported the number of satellites that are being used. The Navman GPS program used to.

I recall some months ago an article somewhere which explained how to hack the GPS sleeve to switch something on that would report the number of satellite to Tom Tom GPS. I've searched and searched these forums but I can't find it !!

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
