Please help me!
I have a Samsung GS3 and installed CoPilot Live 9.4.0.183
On my old HTC G2, I had moved the maps to an external SDCard.
on the GS3, I cannot seem to make the app work using the moved maps.
I have been told the user.cfg has to be modified to enable the operation, but no matter how I change the file, it re-writes itself to the original setting.
I have been told that the card addressing is wrong so it re-writes the cfg file.
If someone has succesfully moved the maps, please tell me how!
Don't know but can't you just re-download the maps onto the new card from Google Play? or is there a reason why you do not want to do this?
Edit, OOPs! sorry, you have already done this and it's these maps that you can't read? _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

No, I CAN read all the maps, but I had to delete many other apps etc in order to install all the maps. I want to MOVE THE MAPS TO THE EXTERNAL SD CARD, so that I can reinstall all the other stuff I had to remove just to get the maps downloaded. there are other individuals saying their project worked, but mine simply does not.
Well, since there was no input I have tried Many, Many different ways to edit the user.cfg file and this was the only one that worked. I deleted the maps from the internal phone file and it's copied to the external SdCard and all is good!
If anyone is interested, you just need to edit the "[directories]" portion of user.cfg as follows:

I just freed up ~3GB of the internal memory on my Sony Xperia ZR following this recipe. It seems to work fine. One (maybe obvious) comment is that after changing the user.cfg file, you should delete the complete NA (or as in my case EU) folder to free up the memory space.
