Are you saying it seizes with Garmin's own speed camera files or the files from this site? I've never had a problem with the Garmin ones. |

Hi Irh,
I have a 1490T which was doing the same as yours locking up when / after warning about speed camera's ( I only use the camera database from this site).
What I ended up doing was to make sure the firmware and maps where all up to date ( You've done this in buying a new unit).
Then I moved over from Ash's Camera Manager Software to using Kremmen
Garmin CSV to GPX Converter.
It still locks up some times ** but very rarely now and a lot less warnings about multi camera in the same spot
** I have over 500 custom POI's for customers I deliver to and the only problem is, after selecting a new post code and address the map moves, the ETA is correct but the speed shown will be 0. But using the back button and then show map everything is OK.
Camera Version downloaded is
Garmin POILoader [UK - Speed Zoned Complete | pMobiles: Yes | French: No | Swiss: No ]
Hope this helps. |
