A2B announces release of latest version of GPSCookie

Hi,

A2B would like to announce the release of the latest version of GPSCookie, its free GPS software, for Pocket PC and Windows platforms, produced by its partner company, Tinystocks.

The latest version enables the user to use the built-in A2B search facility to find and view the nearest websites to the current position. The software displays the nearest 10 websites, their distance and bearing, in addition to the usual GPS functionality.

Registering (your details will not be distributed, we're techies not marketers) on the A2B website at http://www.a2b.cc enables the search feature.

Other points of note:
- Search feature coming soon in Navio GPS software - see http://www.tinystocks.com/gps.html for details.
- We need links! Feel free to add websites which pertain to your area so everyone else can search on them. You can add them on the website and will soon be able to do this in the application - the website you add doesn't have to be your own.
- We take bulk link additions in CSV format - link,link title, decimal latitude, decimal longitude - drop me a mail - sam at a2b.cc for more info.
- The "Search" and "Upload Position" web-based APIs are open to everyone - will soon be publishing the API def doc but mail me for details for now.
- Full website redesign due in next couple of weeks.
- Many more features (categorisation etc) due.

The site and service are currently still in beta testing. A2B welcomes your comments, either here on on the Tinystocks-hosted A2B forum at http://forum.a2b.cc
