I have a 2515 lmt ,do I need to install the SOX app to use the wave voice files or is it only needed to convert mp3 voice files .

Yes, if your device does not have an mp3 player, you need to use the .wav voice files and so you need to put sox.exe in the folder where PoiLoader.exe resides.
