I know there were some problems with the latest map update (905) being sent out a while back but I thought that was all sorted now
Finally got around to connecting my TomTom Blue&Me unit for the update (TomTom 1000 with Fiat Specific firmware)
And I am still only being offered a GPSFix update, no new map..
Checked my account and its showing valid for updates
Europe - Version: v9.00 Active on your device
Map Update Service valid until 20-02-2014
Opened a ticket with TomTom 4 days ago and no response at all it has been totally ignored.
Is anyone else having a problem with these maps (Never had a problem with the previous map updates.)

You generally get a better response from TT CS if you phone them. 0845 161 0009 or 020 7387 5444 in Office hours worked for me. _________________ Richard

My live services are down today, and reading the forums including TT's own, there seems to be a creeping paralysis spreading through TT's servers. Two thoughts occur, probably erroneous, firstly this may be the sort of scenario were corrupt data can be downloaded, and the second is to wonder about cyber attacks on TT servers, I'm sure they must happen? Although the latest map was released a fortnight ago, it was only yesterday that I received my usual (late and not needed, because I've already downloaded it) email from TT saying new map now available. Brewery organisation springs to mind. _________________ Dennis

Will try giving them a call Monday see what they say,
Just had a single update appear so figured that was it, grabbed TT from car plugged in to find it was a Quickfix update! Oh Joy... |

Well I got a reply from Tomtom (Posted below)
Claiming the 905 update is not compatible with the unit yet (Despite it being a Go1000 with just a firmware mod to allow it to communicate with the cars canbus) and it will be a QUARTER 2 2013 RELEASE!!!
Well suppose that puts us at least 1 map release behind the Standard units then

Please accept my apologies for a lack of clarity on the on part. The current map version for the Blue & Me 2 TomTom LIVE is in fact still 9.00. The 9.05 map for this unit requires a software update to be compatible with the unit, and will be released a few weeks later than it's release for other units. They expect to release this software update for the Blue & Me 2 series in Q2 of this year.
I do not have an exact date for the software release available at this time, so I do apologize for the delay in releasing new map data for this unit.
