I had no trouble at all in applying the update 3.03 but experienced similar problems. I tried re-installing GPS 3.00 and even Old Faithfull (2.07) but still had fatal errors and exits etc. Being clever, I doggedly used backup copies of the Settings .cfg files. Embarassed

Eventually I reverted to 3.01 with GPS 3.0 which was totally stable but with the address finder fault.

The secret it seems was not to be lazy and to set up the preferences and favourites again in a new cfg. file. Clearly the previous files are not totally compatible with the new version!

Hi!

I have been lurking around here for a while without posting. I also had some problems after installing 3.03. The update worked fine with the maps from Benelux but when I changed to Major roads europe everything got screwed up.

When I tried to start TT with the major roads my Toshiba just froze up, tried with a couple of soft reset´s with no luck, then tried to reinstall the old drivers, still nothing Sad

Finally I had to hard reset and reinstall TT and now it works fine, will stick to 3.01 during my summer vacation...
