Garmin NUVI 2595LMT

Having been using a discontinued 660 model I decided to upgrade over the holidays to the 2595. When I tried to enter an address I was again headed to this coming weekend, it would not find in with the correct city. it found another about 35 miles away. The 660 had no problem.
Then tried to register it and do the Dashboard for it. Could not do either on either a Mac or my Win XP laptop. After about 4 tries for the address as well as the registration I took it back for an exchange unit. This to I could not to wither with. Took that one back and will wait for a better smart phone or tablet.
BTW the address I was looking for has been around for about 20+ years.

Do have a question for you folks that use the 2595 device, there is a port on a side for another attachment, not the mini usb in back, but something with what looks like about 8-9 pins inside. And nothing in the booklets show it or I was able to get from literature for this device. Anyone know what its for?
Guess it's back to using the 660 for a bit. Jut takes a long to enter info and no map updates.

It's the slot for the sd card

Did you check you had the correct state selected? If not that would explain why the address wasn't found.

YES, Ca, USA. Address needed was in corona, Ca but kept coming up in Chino.
Coincidentally, the RD its on is Chino-Corona Rd.
But have had not problem last 2 times count there w\660.
