Just received this message from Argos re. the Map Update Card:
Thank you for your email regarding your TomTom Sat Nav 12 Month Map Update Service. (504/4092).
I am sorry to read the above item cannot be used on your TomTom device. I can appreciate your frustration; especially as it states on the website this is compatible with all devices. I can assure you, it is never our intention to mislead our customers in any way.
I have reported this error to the relevant department, where necessary steps will be taken to ensure this issue is rectified as soon as possible. I would like to thank you for bringing this to our attention.
As the item is not as advertised, please return it to your local store with your proof of purchase. Upon inspection, a member of staff will be happy to offer further assistance. Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Seems fair enough. |

I had an e-mail from Argos asking if I'd like to review my purchase. They later emailed to say they were rejecting my review as it contained "inappropriate or unhelpful content" i.e it was critical.
WTF did they expect?! |
