Help with a non supported Navigon 5 PNA 6000

I have picked up a Navigon 5 Made by Transonic from a charity shop which I have been led to believe it is no longer supported by Garman but torrent sites have maps to down load but It can't read the map file can any one let me if I can upgrade the software on the device and how I can get it read the map files any help would be bonus

Afraid this forum does not approve of the use of pirated maps, so has a policy of not discussing methods to hack/crack or otherwise install them.

Sorry if I have offended any one and if I could find a site were I can purchase a software upgrade and maps I would be willing to pay but I am not sure if I will find one since its no longer supported but if you do no of one please post or PM me
