Is there an easy way to navigate to a particular junction on a given motorway? Or even to look it up in Map?

I’m using TT3, but am considering reverting to TT2 due to the BT problems; high time there was a resolution for that now!

Of course if the junctions were given post codes the wonderful & indispensable Postcode prog from Niels Thomsen would come to the rescue yet again.

In map view scroll to the junction you want, hold your stylus on it and you will get a pop up menu, select << Navigate to >>

Thanks Morris, I am aware of doing it this way, but I was really looking for something slicker & quicker, a more elegant solution.

In view of the fact that this topic has been inundated with a reply, I must assume that there is no other method.

Thanks anyway

I believe it is the only method and its a great improvement on TT2, I hink there is an option to do this in GPAssist. However I am not sure how it isa implemented. Any users care to comment?

It is the only way I know, unless you wanted to set up a POI list for any common ones you might use.

This method was also available in all the previous iterations of TomTom.

In Navigator Mode, select 'Navigate To', enter a Town or City in the general area (it doesn't need to be that close), i.e. 'Guildford', then for Street, enter the Motorway i.e. 'M25'. You will then be presented with a list of Motorway Junctions and Motorway Intersections in that area.

In my example above, I used Guildford which is on the A3 and at least 10 miles from the M25.

Hope this helps?

Thanks Darren, that seems to be more like it. I'll give it a go.
