Hi,

I'm brand new to PocketWorld GPS so please bear with me. Today I downloaded the speedcamera database for my Tom Tom One (original version - very old!) I have managed to install the database but when I go to change preferences and "Warn near POI", I don't get any sound options at all. The device is completely silent and goes straight to the screen which says "Is this the sound you want to select?" What sound, I ask, I didn't even hear one! I haven't actually road tested the sat nav yet, but I'm concerned that I might not get any audible warning when I'm approaching the speedcameras. I'm pretty sure I chose to download the female voice with chime, so it's strange why I heard no sound at all when changing the "warn near POI" preferences. Could anyone offer me any advice please about what, if anything, might have gone wrong?

Thanks
Chris

If you are using our provided sound file packs then this is normal (although not intuitive). Basically, the system can see it has an alert file that matches the POI file and uses that automatically.

So just answer yes and proceed to the next POI, repeat for each one.

You can run a demo route when you're finished to to test it all.
