I have the TomTom Navigator for Palm and a Palm Tungsten T3. At present I am using the SD card that came with the TomTom kit. However, I would like to get a larger SD card so that I can install all the maps, plus a whole lot of MP3 music files (the T3 can only play MP3's from an SD card).

Is it possible to do this? Is the TomTom software also installed on the SD card, or is it only the maps? Will the TomTom Navigator still recognise the maps on an SD card that also holds other info, ie. MP3's, movie clips, etc? I want to be able to use the TomTom software without having to remove the SD card each time...

Thanks,

Peter

TomTom will work just fine and ignore the other content. Make sure you have stillenough space on the card and defragment the card frequently. TomTom does not like fragmented data at all...

Put it into the cardreader and use the defragmentation tools of a PC. Alternatively, copy all contents off the card, refornat it, and then copy the data back - this is sometimes quicker.
