The download makes no progress and them comes up with this dialogue

The URL is as follows:

Any thoughts?


Tried router and pc restart.

Map 895 downloaded & installed onto my 550 Live via Home. Haven't had chance to check out the new map yet, but seems to be functioning OK, which is a blessing Smile

I noticed it also downloaded "Navigating To A Postcode".

No UK safety camera updates (again!) ....

I have tried everything I can think of and can only assume the morons at TomTom have made yet another blunder.

Have you tried changing the port settings in the desktop's MyTT settings? Try 4001.

Also, might you have a firewall or anti-virus blocking transmission?

Yes, tried different ports which pass the test and have also tried with my firewall turned off.

Anyone else tried to update their map today?

Still no luck for me but looking at the path in the error message

http://download.tomtom.com/nav3/895/nav3/Europe.ttpkg

I notice it has nav3 in it twice.

That seems a funny thing to do...

If you put http://download.tomtom.com/895/nav3/Europe.ttpkg you get an access forbidden message rather than not found error which seems more reasonable.

Some information from a poster on TT's discussion forums:

2) Once you've got the Debug menu available, click it then select 'Certificate manager'.
3) Click 'Servers'.
4) Click 'Add Exception ..."
5) In 'Location' enter 'https://download.tomtom.com'
6) Click 'Confirm Security Exception'

Hopefully that should do it.

Yeah, sorry.......

Just wond if you clear the cache on your desktop's icon and see if the download is offered again.

Honestly, I'm seeing posts in various forums of successful dl's of 895 maps for Nav3 devices in Europe.

So, it is not an issue as such with TomTom, I would think....

If you go to Computer Management in your Control Panel, do you see an exclamation mark beside network adapters (which your device shoul show as)?

You might want to try disabling that Network adapter and re-enable.

Just turned my laptop on this morning and this time it is working okay and is at 6%.

I have changed nothing so I guess a problem at their end or with my ISP?
