I have managed to get a list of Tesco Stores that sell 99 RON Petrol (my car wil only run on 99ron)
It is on a Long/Lat address.
When I go down to enter -2.7 whatever there is NO MINUS on the Keyboard??
I have gone into settings & tried everything.
is this like POI on the Tom tom live & they have messed up again?
or how do I get the minus symbol on the keyboard?

Instead of the '-' for longitude, use the 'W'.

| You could use POIEdit on the PC to covert the file format from csv to ov2 then load that directly to the TomTom, alternately if you are unsure about using POIEdit e-mail me the file you have for the fuel stations and I will convert it for you before sending it you back - Use the e-mail button below this post to contact me as that uses a live e-mail account - Mike |

| Regardless of all those, I would strongly suggest that you use Google maps to view where those data points take you, and then adjust to the actual roads around it. Some of the POI databases I have are either a street or two out (probably postcode based) or don't take you to the entrance properly. On Google maps you can pinpoint a location much better, then find it on the TomTom, and manually create a POI from that. Or use the "Send to satnav" option. |

Some people have their cars ECU re-mapped to take advantage of premium fuels.

Is the format TomTom uses unusual? Sometimes I find if a website or Google maps gives coordinates they end up in the sea if you put them into TomTom or visa versa!
I believe most turbo Subarus need super unleaded as a minimum (97 RON) and do best on 99 RON. Indeed I believe it is a condition of the warranty that they be run on super unleaded only.  |

Subaru Forester STI from Japan.
They use 102 Ron over there.

It SHOULD be simple....
Google uses decimal degrees format (eg 52.12345°) and uses a minus sign for West and South (the "+" for North and East is assumed)
TomToms can be switched to decimal degrees format (d.d°) which is becoming the most common or two other formats in use (d°m's'' and d°m.m') in the "set units" preferences.
But they always want you to use N,S,E,W before any numbers you enter.
So Google's 52.12345,-1.67890 translates to TomTom's N52.12345 W1.67890
If you leave it set to decimal degrees and remember those letters, it should never put you in the sea!
