Hi
After 5 years unblemished service I've just replaced my TT One XL with a Garmin 2595LMT.
I fancied an up-grade with Euro maps and liked the idea of free updates & traffic. £155 from Amazon with £30 cash back seemed too good to miss

Still finding my way around it and getting used to the differences.
Is there any way of altering the map themes (like you can with TT)

I'm looking to sell the TT but seem to recall a forum post that I should first delete your camera files - Am I correct?
If so could anyone please advise best/quickest way to do it
I didn't want to perform a factory re-set as it has several years worth of map updates on it

any advice appreciated
Thanks

First backup all the files from the unit to your PC. Just in case.

Go to the map folder and delete all the PGPSW files

Pretty sure the all start with PGPSW. Or download the tomtom database you used and see what the file names are.

The factory reset only wipes out settings. Not maps. Maybe MapShare updates but you can re-download them. So you might want to do this anyway. It also won't delete the PGPSW files.

Thanks Paul I'll do that.
I've also just realised the Garmin map themes are there - named after countries.
I thought they were languages Embarassed

Should have read the instructions properly

Close! Laughing

They all start with "pocketgps_"..... so those are the ones to delete, obeone.
