Back in September of last year I wrote "It's hard to get excited at the prospect of yet another car mount. I've tested dozens over the years and whilst some are better than others, they've all used the same windscreen suction design which, for the most part, does the job, albeit with the occasional failure to grip."

But the Exomount, now re-branded as 'Oso Space mount' was indeed different and it did get me excited. It uses a patented suction technology combined with a polyurethane lined grip which allows it to stick to surfaces like no other mount we've tested.

I tried buying this under its previous name in March, got an email in April concerning the name change, and price increase, and enquiring if I was still interested in buying. I replied in the affirmative but have heard nothing since.


Perhaps, having failed to pay for one, I might get it now for free!
