NUVI 660 - Software Missing

If you switch on your Nuvi 660 and it fails to start stating that Operating Software is missing, do not worry. The helpline (with freephone number) advised me to switch on the unit holding down the start key, do not release until the notification boot loader is displayed, it take two to three minutes. The system then reloads the operating software and all should be well.
