My TT has just died. It is only realatively new and I regularly keep it charged either from the car or from my computer. Yesterday, it failed to start with the ON/OFF switch so assumed it may be a low battery - unlikely, so I have had it on charge for the last 20+ hours. Red charging light showing and this am have tried again. Checked simple on/off - nothing. held down switch for about 30 secs hoping for a drum roll reboot - nothing.
Any suggestions, please ? _________________ Gee-Pee

When you have it connected to the car with the CLA, no success getting it to turn on then either?
Does relatively newmean it's still under warranty? _________________ David |

Well, it seems that a warranty claim is in order.
Yeah, winter returned to our area today .... -20C wind chill. But back to 0 on Monday, they say. _________________ David |

Yep, will return to it's home on Monday, unless I can get it going before then...thought I might put it in the oven for 1/2 hr to warm it up. It was -12C here last night but is now -4C - so summer is arriving for you.
PS Only joking about the oven. Just in case anyone might try the same trick. _________________ Gee-Pee

If it has been in the car, and then brought into the house, then condensation is likely to cause shorts that will stop it working. Put it somewhere warm (not oven!) for a few hours and it may work. |

Thanks fro the suggestion - but it has been in a warm house for over 24 hours now. Just going to leave it now until monday and we will see what TT say. No problem, I am not going anywhere in this weather, _________________ Gee-Pee
