Garmin nuvi 1390T speed cam voice alerts

I can't seem to get voice alerts to work for the speed cam file downloaded. I have put the sox.exe in the poiloader and downloaded the speed cam file with wav files. All I get is a chime but no voice identification of the alert Crying or Very sad

.

So, I'm either not doing it right or the device doesn't support it. If it can be done is there a procedure for this for me to follow. Has anyone got it to work on their nuvi 1390T?

Hope someone can assist.

Get an older version of SOX.EXE.

Do a forum search as there are links around.

Thanks Kremmen that's fixed it, older is better Smile

A few of points to note:

1) If you haven't got Microsoft .NET Framework4 it will ask for permission to download it.
2) If you have Win7, intercept the 'Program Files' default installation location and place it somewhere else. This is because I write the GPX files to the installation location and if you haven't got full Admin privileges it will fail.
3) Download and read the help file first.
