Could anybody be so kind to advise me, if i install Tom Tom 3 on to the Medion mdppc 250 is there any way i can arrive at a place and press a button so as the software will remember this location for the future and can i add a name to it? Also how many of these will it store (if it can).

Also any advice for loading the Tom Tom onto the Medion?

Thanks in advance.

Not press a button, but you can tap the screen and save it as a favourite (which you are limited to) or into a POI which is virtually unlimited.

Thanx for that Dave, just leading on from that is it possible to save the POI as a name so as to navigate to at a later date or does it just flag up as a POI that shows itself when you happen to be near it?
Thanx for any help.

You can create a POI file like DAVE's POI's and then add a hole load of POI's into this and name each one. They will show up on the map if you ask for them to be shown, and you can use the NAVIGATE TO then POI and select your POI Group you created, then see all the POI names within that group and navigate to the one you want.

Many thanx again Dave, that answered all i needed to know about the Tom Tom 3.
I was also looking at the POI-Warner from navigating.de to see if this would do the same thing, as it's a shame this facility isn't included in Navigator.
If anyone out there knows please let me know.
Thanx again.
Thumbs Up
