Hi everyone,
I have a tom tom 920 which is running western europe v710.1567, on the internal memory, and on the 4gig memory card it is running Europe Truck 840.2554,
only now my 920 doesnt recognise the truck map  ,
but if i connect the unit with the card still in it to my laptop all the maps are shown on the screen 
any advice on why this might be happening

Hi Mike,
I actually bought it off e-bay about a year ago, and it was working fine until a few months ago when tomtom home forced me to update the application if i wanted to continue using the mapshare and other updates.

| Sadly most maps combined with applications for the TomTom products available on E-Bay tend to be hacked/ cracked illegal software, the update will have replaced the files that were letting the hack work leaving the unit unable to see the "Work" / "Truck" map - Mike |

suppose that's the peril of buying dodgy stuff from e-bay,
