Custom POI's not showing on map when destination route set

Hope you can please help ??

In addition to the speed camera database I have downloaded additional POI's such as wi fi spots, landmarks, garages, etc. If I am just driving around without inserting a route then the relevant icons appear on the map. However, once I set a destination they disappear! Any suggestions ??

POIs (custom or otherwise) on the 13xx and 14xx series only appear at the 200 feet zoom level or below ... at least that's how mine works. Incidentally that's an improvement over many nuvi models where POIs don't show at all

Favourites show at all zoom levels.

POIs and favourites exhibit this behaviour whether or not you're in navigation mode.

If yours doesn't work like this which software are you running? It's been like this since 5.70. If you're running 5.70 or 5.80 then try a hard reset.

Thanks Sussamb. My device is fairly old but does the job Software version is 4.90 so guess I will just have to live with this for now - the camera database is the imp thing for me the other POI's were just a "nice to have"
