I'm of to France for a few days on Thursday. How do I download and install the camera database to CamerAlert before I go as I wont have data access in france.
Also How do I download the regular database do I can have the icons on my TomTom Map via Diskaid? (I dont see an option to select a non UK database in the download page!)
Thanks! |

CamerAlert always has the entire database, with worldwide coverage. That includes France. _________________ Lutz

If the Apple app is the same(ish) as the Android app, don't forget to change the "Speed unit of measure" to km/h during the ferry crossing. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

Hi all, newb here...
@Dave: Just interested to know if the CamerAlert worked ok in France? Would you say that it is fairly reliable?
I'm heading over there myself in the spring and if am keen to get onboard too and avoid any "controles de vitesse"! |

As I reported in another thread (don't know how to link to it) TomTom tweeted this a couple of hours ago:

Seems to say Camera warnings are now illegal in France. _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |
