Hi all,
After I changed my map zone I lost my fuel prices. So I changed the zone back to what it was before and now it wont boot up. I press the power button and for a second TT opening screen comes on and then it blanks out. I can connect to my laptop if I reboot the device and can see the files on it.
Home shows I have no application on my device but have on my laptop.
I did get a strange windows message something about certificate at some stage on the first zone change.
Thanks for any help. |

As HOME is showing that you have the Navcore on the laptop, use HOME to install it to the Device.
Once that is done you can then try the zone change again. _________________ Richard

Thanks for the reply. What I did was to remove all the root files but not the folders, this gave me the big Red cross. It offered a navcore which then got updated to the current. Iam now in, I lost my favorites but thats not a problem.
Thanks again. |

XL Live models are extremely sensitive to the USB cable being removed whilst they are still on and causing file corruption.
I find the best course of action is to eject from within home, wait until the device asks you about connecting to the computer, choose no and then power the XL LIVE off. Once it has gone in to standby I disconnect the usb cable.
I have corrupted the file system a few times disconnecting in haste.
I am not saying this is what has happened here, but it sounds similar to a few times I have done this. |

This may have been the problem because I got that windows certificate error just before I disconnected so it may have already corupted the software. |
