Nuvi 3790T - Data Abort

Is there anyone out there besides me continually suffering from unit resetting with Data Aborts or Prefetch Aborts. Since the summer this must have happened over a hundred times with ten resets this month alone (two tonight which almost made me throw the damn thing out of the window).
Unfortunately I believe my unit is out of warranty. Does anyone know if a complete reset will clear the issue?

A hard reset often cures problems like this, but note you might want to back up your favourites first.

Please register your fault with garmin online support, otherwise they will not repair their software

PS - Have you upgraded to the latest firmware ?
