I know on these forums that several members have derided the accuracy/usefulness of the fuel prices function in Live Services, but on the few times I have tried it, I have found it to be surprisingly accurate. The problem is that since getting my refurbished 550 Live and installing the latest full European map, fuel prices are flagged as unavailable. The device says I can join the service via Home, but I can't seem to get it working at all. Fuel Prices file is shown as being on the device in Manage my Device, so what am I doing wrong?

Sorry, can't help as I have no idea how to make them work - mine have come back to life recently and oddly enough, I filled up today, Diesel 1.389 a litre. TT fuel prices says 1.39 which I am amazed to find to be accurate. _________________ Dennis

Hah! I sussed it. TomTom kindly updated my map to Full European FOC last week as compensation for a minor problem, but in doing so, filling stations were not installed as POI's. I connected my device through Home, selected Add Traffic, Voices etc., selected Points of Interest, and there was Fuel Stations awaiting installation, ticked the box, clicked go and installed the database and in doing so, enabled fuel prices! Voila!

Other than the phantom £1.26 a litre for diesel at an outlet that doesn't exist, TT's fuel prices are spot on locally - what's gone wrong..... er... right?
