I have a Garmin 1340 LMT which periodically "hangs" when the camera alert occurs.

The warning note remains on the screen, the map stops updating & the time to destination extends by one minute every minute. The speed indicator on the bottom right of the screen continues to function and the navigation voice also continues.

Backing out to the menu & coming back onto map display resolves the problem.

This doesn't occur with the alert proximity warning turned off, or when using the pre-installed Garmin camera database.

Any ideas anyone please? (the database works fine on my older Garmin Nuvi 760.

I don't have a Garmin but it sounds like the sort of thing that happens when the icons or sound files are not installed properly. Can you check these or maybe zoom on the map to where a known camera is to check the icons.

It might also be worth reading the install guides on the camera download page as there are some notes about some newer Garmin devices on there.

Thanks for the tip Dom,

I've deleted the Cyclops files & added just the .csv for the camera's - we'll see how that goes.

Thanks
