It may have a 5000mah battery, but at what voltage?
I've found that many battery packs boast high capacities but if it's only houses a 3.6v cell lots will be wasted during the step-up to 5.0v and won't supply 500mA.
Who's for ripping theirs open so we can find out _________________ 🔸🔸 Currently using TomTom GO 940 & Locus Map 🔸🔸 |

not me ;) though i can say that it doesn't get hot (like my emergency charger that runs off 2 x 1.5v AA batteries) so i would assume if it IS being stepped up from a lower voltage then it may not be by very much.

The Veho Pebble which seems to be the same device quotes "Battery Capacity 5000mAh @ 3.7V" in it's specification

Ah…the truth be known!
It says it can deliver 5V at up to 950mA, but I bet it wouldn’t last long and would get nice and toasty (ideal hand warmer).
You want a nice 7.2v (or larger) cell, then it could maintain a nice stable 5V and a good current for much longer
Problem is it would also cost much more _________________ 🔸🔸 Currently using TomTom GO 940 & Locus Map 🔸🔸 |
