I had an Old Navigo Sat Nat which someone had installed TomTom on and it used to give a ding or whatever when I went over the speed Limits. I now have a Garmin 1490TV and it doesn't, Can anyone say why not?

The next question: Is a Navi-go the same as a Navigon, in other words was the Navi-Go just a special name for the ones sold to certain retailers.

Your 1490 (and all the nuvis I think) simply 'ding' if you're over the speed limit AND in a speed camera alert zone.

And Navi-go has nothing to do with Navigon.
