I recently updated to the software 5.2 and audio 2.1 for my C310.

now however the last warning i get for a turn is 0.2 miles prior to the turn. Thats ok out here in the middle of Anglesey North Wales,, but absolutely chaotic in the wilds of liverpool or Manchester.....

Have i missed something in the download process, or is this the default??

thanks

Adrian

I noticed the same with my C320 last week on holiday, I was on firmware 5.1 - I'm pretty sure that using a previous version (4.8) I got better timed turn prompts. I've logged a tech support issue with garmin about this & suggest you do the same (simply fill in an online form at garmin.com)
The more they get the better chance of a fix!

I got a reply .. from Garmin
But is there any way I can save the user data or upload it to elsewhere??

You will need to reset your unit. Please be aware you will loose all user data stored in the unit. To reset the unit you need to press the bottom right hand corner of your screen and hold in (relatively firmly) and then press and hold POWER. You need hold both for 30 seconds.

This will completely wipe all data on your unit including almanac data (satellite information). Your unit would then need at least 45 minutes with clear view of the sky to update the almanac and reacquire.

Thank you for contacting Garmin Europe

Did it make any difference?

Garmin told me to update to the latest language files, which made no difference at all (as I expected!).

I have edited you're reply to remove the Garmin employee's name. I'd be grateful if you did not post employee names in the forum.
