Help
I just bought a tom tom start 25 very impressed with its big screen and lack of bulk compared to my old faithfull TT Go 910.
My big problem is I cannot load the speed camera data base because my computer refuses to identify the tom tom.
Tom Tom states the non identification of the TT device is a feature of the start.
Must say this statement mystifies me.
How can I load the camera data base I have trawled the forums for hours but cannot find the relevant thread.
Incidentally I am using windows vista.
thanks

You need to be using MyTomTom (tomtom.com/getstarted), NOT Home 2 with that device.

Even so, the unit will NOT show as an external drive on your computer since the user has no access to the file system.

You should be able to load speed camera database files to it (presume you mean from here) using the menu item 'Add community content' which will appear in the desktop icon for MyTomTom when you connect your unit.

There are threads here on how to add the files and I'm sure the experts will be along to advise as well.

thanks for the advice.
I used the Add community content button.
Unfortunately the tom tom web site refused the zipped file then when I unzipped it and put it in my documents file it would not pick it up.
