How does Car Locator work? I can't see that option on any of my menus?

car locator is in the same place (scroll out bar) where you find traffic, weather info etc.
you press save location when you park up & press find when you want to go back to your car.

Shalom!
Peace out! Out of here

No, I definitely can't see that option on any of my menus - can anybody help? Why can't I see it?

Probably not Telmap related but using it tonight with my Blackberry 9700 which I have a password on, after the time limit the phone locks and navigation stops. Is there a way for Telmap to stop this or is a device specific issue?

Hi,

I had this issue too after upgrading to the latest beta. It's a permissions issue. I contacted support and they sent me the following which fixed the issue:

Please reinstall Telmap5 as follows:

Delete your current version

Go to either of the following options (depends on your device firmware)

Options - Advanced Options - Applications
or
Options - Device - Application Management

Scroll down to Telmap5 and select Delete from the Menu (it is important to use this deletion method in order to prevent issues on the new installation).

Reboot your device

Reinstall Telmap5 by browsing to the beta download link directly on your device

Follow the on-screen instructions and make sure to “Allow” all permissions in the process.

Please make sure that the cellular data is enabled before entering the application.

Had exactly the same issue the other day - and i was using the motorway so a little dangerous if constantly entering password to use Telmap. Lucky was a stretch of road i know.

Thanks for the fix will attempt today and see if locks again.

Cheers Very Happy
